By Scuba Instructor Group, Local Scuba Diving Trainers & Trip Leaders
We will have staff scuba instructors from local retailers to speak to you about what it takes to become a scuba diver. They even have a FREE Demonstration Coupon for you to use at your local retailer’s training sessions. Ask for the coupon and then book a convenient time with the store to enjoy breathing underwater.
By Tim Macrone, Regulator Specialist & Service Technician
The Demonstration booths offer a close up and personal view of the topics being presented. Ask questions one-on-one.

Zebra mussels and other environmental threats to our local waters
No one of sound mind sets out to harm our environment, especially close to home. Yet it is possible your diving practices may do it accidentally. Zebra mussels, rock snot, hydrilla, Frankenfish and micro-plastics are just a few of the invaders that have found their way into Maryland’s waters. A little knowledge about why invasives are not welcome, along with some proper planning and gear cleaning will keep you from being part of the problem.
