Most people have experienced a traumatic incident at some time, either as a responder, witness or victim. This seminar covers the impact and implications of traumatic events, how events are manifested, behaviors that can result, triggers, PTSD and what we can do about all this — in both the short and long term.

What do we do when we are diagnosed with a disease that may affect our ability to scuba dive. What happens when age creeps upon us and we still have that adventurous spirit. Dr. Lynne Diggs will discuss ways we can continue to enjoy breathing air at depth with a few precautions.

Ears 11 AM-12:30 PM

Otic Barotrauma is the most common medical complaint that we face as a diver. This must attend workshop will include a comprehensive lecture on common conditions related to diving and ears and sinus problems commonly encountered. A demonstration using the video Otoscope will allow each attendee to review optimal ways to clear their ears. A hands on workshop will include a training in the use of the DAN Otoscope. The workshop includes the DAN Otoscope.
